There will be some changes to the way VAT charges, custom duties and handling fees will be taken care of. For orders under 160 Euros, VAT will have to be charged by us, which we then have to declare. Above this amount the VAT and customs duties will be collected by Royal Mail from you, the customer, prior to delivery. These charges are applied on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs.
Because of the technical and administrative difficulty this creates we have chosen to implement a minimum order amount of 160 € excluding VAT in our webshop as a temporary measure while we work on the best possible solution for the issues that arise with Brexit. Your order will be sent VAT free by us, and you will have pay the correct amount of VAT and customs duties to the Royal Mail on behalf of HMRS prior to delivery.
It seems a significant amount of orders sent to the UK are being held longer than expected at customs. Orders can show multiple days without an update of shipping due to a backlog of administrative work at HM Revenue & Customs. Unfortunately we do not have any means of making this process quicker, so we ask you to be patient in receiving your package. Be sure that it's on its way to you, once customs services is ready processing your package it will find its way to you quickly.
